Omar has a great technical experience in industrial and manufacturing facilities, as he started his industrial career as a project engineer responsible to plan, initiate and run a special plastic products factory.

Supporting the technical side and in order to enrich the general skills ( non-technical skills ), Omar worked as a Senior Strategic Planning Analyst at stc and a Senior Specialist at National Center for Privatization for + 3.5 years where he took a splendid exposure to general project management and strategic thinking skills.

Currently, Omar is working at the National Industrial Development Center ( NIDC ) as a Supervisor in Food Processing Department.

Omar’s main job is to develop food processing opportunities ( including technical and financial due diligence ), conduct technical studies, analyze the market, support food processing manufacturers and attract industrial investment to food processing field.

Driven by Saudi vision 2030 and the National Industrial Strategy, Omar really believes that Saudi Arabia will be the great paradise for all industrial segments not only food processing.

Omar is a Certified Key Performance Indicator Professional ( KPI-P ) from Balance Score card Institute, in addition to a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University.
