Dr. Khaled Zitoun
Dr Khaled Zitoun joined Kerry in 1996 as part of the graduate program and has held progressively senior RD&A leadership roles in North America, Europe and APMEA. He currently serves as Chief Technology Officer for APMEA and Global Technical Officer for Food. He led the creation of the Kerry Innovation Centre in Beloit, Wisconsin, USA, the Global Innovation Centre in Naas, Ireland and has influenced the development of other global and regional technology and innovation centres in Singapore, Shanghai, Brisbane and Bangalore. In 2014, Khaled relocated to Singapore to lead Kerry’s APMEA RD&A and RA function before moving to Dubai, UAE, in 2022. In his current role, he continues to drive innovation and technological advancements in taste and nutrition, aligning with evolving consumer demand for healthier food to support teams across the Middle East, India Subcontinent, and Africa. Khaled holds a PhD in Food Engineering from The Ohio State University, USA.
